Nice wine..strong citrus, refreshing, not very sweet at all. Very smooth with hardly any acidity. Note: Our bottle is the Amarante grape.

Drank at Camp with papa’s smoked venison haunch. Balances good dark fruit and earthiness. Good pairing with the food. Also good after. — a month ago
Good blend. A little sweet initially but balanced out after it breathed a little. Overall nice wine but enjoyed even more at the Joseph Phelps winery. Great ambience and even better friends. — 5 months ago
In beautiful shape, better than I remember the last bottle being. Dried red and black fruits, dry dusty tannins, forest floor, dried porcini mushroom and old leather umami nodes, cedar, dried herbs. Did I mention it’s dry? But it’s a beautiful wine, the flavor profile exudes sun baked warmth but the alcohol clocks in at less than 12% so it doesn’t fatigue the palate — 2 years ago
Founded in 1982 by Koerner and Joan Rombauer and sits on a tree covered knoll overlooking the Napa Valley, with caves that extend for over a mile. Pale lemon color with aromas of stone and tropical fruit, sweet oak, spice and floral scents. On the palate flavors of ripe peach, melon and apple, with vanilla spice, creamy texture. Medium+ finish, well balanced with acidity, ending with mineral notes. — 18 days ago
