A well structured second wine from Chateau Figeac. Lively floral bouquet on the nose transforms into a structured wine with dark fruits on the palate. — 8 months ago
Belle pureté, fruits croquants, framboises, fraise, la finesse, longue finale — 4 years ago
Wayyyyyy too tightly wound to be enjoyed currently, intensely citric and leesy — 2 months ago
Blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, aged in new, and used oak. Deep Ruby red color, with aromas of ripe dark fruits, spice and herbs. On the palate flavors of blackberry, plum and cinnamon spice. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, smoky spice and earthy mineral character. Good now! — 6 months ago

Quintessential Beaune. Quite young, but already showing some soft edges. Cherry notes combine with cinnamon and a hint of nutmeg. This is not for the long haul, but is presenting well right now. Finishes dry, so in my mind, this requires food - Nougatine at Jean Georges. — 5 years ago

PnP. Solid. Fairly complex with good fruit and terroir. Nothing that really wowed me. — 2 months ago
