Bright beige gold. Slight haze after aeration (unfiltered?). Abundant nose of kumquat rind and balsa wood. Echoed on the medium full palate which adds form acidity, underripe quince, and a bit of white pepper. Lingering finish continues the palate. Excellent upper-end Bordeaux Blanc for any and all special dinners. Rich seafood dishes (scallops, trout almandine) are its friend. Drink now through 2027. — 18 days ago
Still needs a lot of time 16 years on...maybe it will never reach its 100 point potential. Still an exceptional Bordeaux that improved markedly after 3 hours in the decanter. — a day ago
Deep amber color in a 375ml format. Non-descript on the nose with a hint of neutral oak. Clean and clear in the class with rich honey and a finish of candied orange peels. Some soft floral notes that I cannot fully discern. An amazingly good pairing with Asian inspired honey beef stir fry — 6 days ago

Followed over a few days. Consistent profile.
From 375ml
Advanced caramel color with a tinge of orange. Thankfully, aromatics are as expected with orange marmalade, caramel and toffee. Viscous and weighty profile with low acidity. Faint notes of honey roasted nuts on the palate, but it’s mostly an orange marmalade, caramel and apricot dominated profile. Finish shows good length for what is considered an off-vintage, with the apricot and some bourbon vanilla. Good on its own. Drink now. — 10 hours ago
