Very tasty. Sweet and earthy. Intense flavor. From Howie, February 2021. — 5 years ago
Didn’t even need a decant, this babe was ready to go the second I popped the cork. This was all dried blackberries and dark plum with sturdy tannins begging for a rack of lamb. — 6 years ago
Vigna Nastagio. Although the wine was satisfactory, it did not meet my expectations. I had previously had a more enjoyable experience with other vintages. The dominant tannic notes were even noticeable in an 8-year-old wine. — a month ago
Tart red cherry aromas and taste, light and fizzy.

Drank last night and don’t remember the full profile but damn good. Good fruit with very subtle to nonexistent tannins. Good length. Last bottle and better than last one opened. Drink 2005 brunellos now. — 6 years ago
Got much better. It needed to open up. — 6 years ago
Unnecessarily heavy bottle. Nose is quite vinous, showing bright winey berries and cherry licorice candy, along with a whiff of almond paste. The palate is vigorous but bright and fresh, with nice depth. Tangy acids and a little metallic/mineral note in the slightly bitterish finish. It’s got the “cleansing” character that pairs well with casual, tomato-saucy Italian dishes. I could be wrong but I’m guessing that this has no slightly dried grapes in it nor was any appasimento technique used. Just fresh ripe grapes. — 19 days ago
Medium acidity, apple on the nose, stone fruit, maybe some tropical and honeyed notes on the palate. — 4 months ago
Needs food but not the spiciest red. And not too dry either. This is happens to be the strongest wine we tried tonight (1/8/2026) — 7 months ago

"Odedi"
It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix.
Deep purple in color with a purplish/ reddish rim.
Fruity nose of black currants, cooked plums, licorice, oak, light vanilla, spices, dark chocolates, herbs, coffee and light earth.
Full-bodied and bold, with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cooked cherries, spices, oak, dark chocolates, coffee, peppercorn, spices and green tea.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Red Mountain in Washington State. Elegant and fruit forward. Rich and extracted, chewy and spicy. Nicely balanced and complex, with a nice mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours of airtime.
Still young, but already very approachable, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
A great sipping wine that will also pair nicely with a big piece of steak.
A blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Cabernet Franc. Aged in all new French oak barrels for 20 months.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
