2015 vintage. A joint venture between the Roquette (Quinta do Crasto) and Cazes (Lynch Bages) families. Only produced from the best barrels in exceptional years. Old vines of Touriga Nacional, Tina Roriz and Touriga Franca from the Douro Superior and Cima Corgo sub-regions. Black fruit and violets. Seriously powerful, but it maintains elegance, thanks to the acidity balancing the layers of fruit and ripe tannins. Long lingering finish. Impressive. Abv. 14,5 % . — 4 years ago

I am not quite sure of the varietals in this blend. . However, the fruit and the acidity is in near perfect harmony. A really nice tasting blanco from Portugal. — 3 years ago

Wow. Now my favorite Barbera. Surprisingly elegant for Barbera. Smooth and complex finish with licorice and leather, starting with cranberry and raspberry. An expensive but worthwhile purchase. This wine was still fresh and could age even longer. — 5 years ago
Great reasonable rose, good flavor, not overly sweet. Got at spina — 5 years ago

Dried leaves and smoke... oak... leather... tobacco. There's so much going on in this glass.
It's complex and well balanced.

Excellent. Le balsamique m’est venu en première gorgée. Ensuite fruits mûre, prune, légèrement tabac. Très enveloppant, moyen acide. Excellent avec steak. SAQ $19 — 5 years ago
Wonderful red wine from the hills in front of the Ligurian Sea.
Mediterranean erbs, tangerine, pine resin... lot of things all in a glass.
Unique! — 6 years ago
In the glass this wine is deep dark burgundy with slightly orange-tinged halo. It smells masculine and earthy with hints of pepper, cedar, blueberries and anise seed. The wine goes down easy even with the noticeable presence of rich tannins. The balance is nice, keeping it interesting as the finish lingers. I taste oak-y dark cherries with an aftertaste of black licorice. I think this is some good medicine. I need another dose. — 6 years ago

For the Baixo Corgo version. Tastes like vacation in Portugal! Simple but delicious and affordable! A mix of fresh and stewed fruit with a slightly woodsy finish. — 3 years ago
