Aged Yolo County Tannat. With a whimsical name. Dark color with a rusty edge. Smells a bit funky. Spike of berry liquor. Hint of wood chips. Flavors are very heavy on the black currant with a hint of plummy-ness. Might be a bit past perfection. Not as much as much tannin and funk as some Tannat, but has plenty of style. Drinks a bit like a French wine. Wonder who is using these grapes now that Rockwall is out of business? ā 5 months ago
Balance, still good a few nights after opening. Strong open and smooth finish. ā 7 months ago
Sour...tart...light ā 2 months ago
Within a few minutes the opening notes change from what was lighter fruit to dark notes with bitter lace of coffee, fig, and bark. Cranberries sparkle through as an acidic tone then takes over with a tight and elegant finish. ā 4 months ago
A bit dryer for a Pinot grigio; can really taste the lemon and apples. Pretty decent for the price. ā 6 months ago
Best, deep red, not too fruity, but could get deeper. Very close to what I normally want for deep red quote out being bitter or to sweet. ā 8 months ago
Presently surprised as I never know what Iām going to get with a Bedrock wine. Very dark color to the edge, nice dark fruits throughout and nice long smooth finish. Busy evening with friends over for dinner and everyone enjoyed the wine. ā 2 months ago
2019 vintage. A nice blend. Dry and dark enough for my taste with a complex and interesting palette ā 5 months ago

Quite Chablis like. Just 600 bottles made. Not super complex. More on the subtle side. Lemon and touch herbs šæ. 12.8%. One of the the producers which are on the burgh side of the spectrum. ā a month ago
