This wine has a medium ruby hue (trending deep in color) with robust and layered aromas and flavors that include strawberry sauce (think fruit-on-the-bottom yogurt), raspberry coulis, tart cherry, rose water, tomato leaf, mint, black licorice, anise, vanilla, and pipe tobacco.

On the palate, it’s dry, with medium (+) acidity, a medium body, medium alcohol (13%) and medium fine grained, soft tannins.

Had the 2019 in June of 2024. Really tasty wine. Dark fruits- black cherry jam with some black berry and red currants. Oak presence adds vanilla with a hint of licorice. Big wine- 14.5 ABV but was really tasty. Enjoyed and would buy again. — 3 months ago

Blue and black fruit aromas and flavors, rich but not overripe, nicely balanced, color shows some browning, this seems mature, should hold for a few more years at least, long finish. — 2 months ago
