German Savagnjn. Let’s go! Nose has that wooly Savagnin thing but with crystalline clarity. Unreal wafting minerals. Some nougat and hints of caramel. So much aroma. Palate is dense and rich but also ephemeral and pointed. Structured to a T and this has a delicate tannic structure. Awesome purity, freshness and incredible depth and drinkability. As this airs the acidity comes into focus and it has wonderful grip and focus. — 2 years ago
Such a great wine. Perfumed nose, spice, hay, skoche of dried honey, some potting soil, cardamom, white pepper, all so pretty and harmonious. Palate is super harmonious and very pure. Sappy and salty finish. Palate is all mineral and spice and maybe a hint of spiced apple on the finish. Lovely wine. Very juicy and spicey! — 3 years ago

Oldie but still a goodie, mountain fruit from (what I understand) is an old head-pruned block of Pinot Noir on/near Sonoma Mountain, when young it was always big, rich and structured, this bottle still shows some structure but also great, still youthful fruit, long, lingering finish, really excellent!! — a month ago
