Founded over 160 years ago, Delas Frères was acquired by Champagne Deutz in 1977. 100% Syrah, aged 16 months in French oak (70% new), aromas of red berry fruits, blossom and complex spice. On the palate black raspberry, fig and black plum flavors, savory with dried herb pepper spice. Fine tannins, great mouthfeel, complex lingering ending with fruit, mineral, floral and spice character. Well balanced, outstanding. — 7 years ago

This rarely disappoints and is, next to Deutz, Pol Roger and Henriot, my favourite go-to champagne.
Love the fresh red fruit with the creamy background and rich, round mouthfeel and the long lasting, tiny bubbles.

Pale straw color with small bubbles. Wet gravel, flinty, red apple, creamy nose. Crisp green apple with a little sweetness. Mild minerality. Delicious and elegant. The best exclusive toTrader Joe’s wine available! Blows Veuve and other famous houses out of the water for the price. Never pass this one up when you see it if you love Champagne!
