Gérard Bertrand

Cote des Roses Languedoc Grenache Blend 2024

Had the 2024 in August of 2025. What a really neat little wine. Light pink color. Some strawberry, peach and orange blossom on the nose. Delicate little wine. Some strawberry, honey and a light floral character on the tongue. Short finish but very tasty. Would drink this one again. — 5 days ago

Vieilles Vignes Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir 2022

2022 vintage. Medium-medium heavy body. Chalky cherry nose. A waterfall of flavors with both punch and tannins. Was really close to rating this a 9.3 but held back just barely. This VV can go PNP now or stow it away for a decade. It's got plenty of stuffing to survive and thrive. 06.12.25. — 2 months ago

This was singing when we had it at an over rated and under delivering Cyril Lignac bistrot in Paris. Great stuff and the best thing we had there. — 2 months ago

Montée de Tonnerre Chablis 1er Cru Chardonnay 2021

Nice mineral and salinity on the nose. Lemon peel.

Super supple. Persimmon. A ceiling of lemons. Medium acidity. A subtle sort of gradual acidity. Enjoyable. Medium intensity. Medium to long finish. Stays with you for a bit.

Nice chew. Lasting impression. Not overly complex but really delivers on the lemon oil and white flowers. A bit of persimmon creaminess.
