Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a delicious 8 year old Cabernet based blend from Napa Valley. Fruit forward with nice complexity. Showing a soft mouthfeel, elegant and rich.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with some air time.
Drinking at its peak now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.
Good by itself as a sipping wine, or with food.
A blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 12% Sangiovese. Aged in (90% new) French Oak barrels for 20 months.

Solid CA Cab. Rich and thick. I liked it but it wasn’t quite up to the build up. Dark fruits. Bramble and high alcohol. Tighter than it should be this point. I enjoyed but was still somewhat lacking. — 2 months ago
