i've had this off & on for the past 25 years and it reliably offers copious amounts of fruit along with cocoa, vanilla & other decadent flavors & aromas. This was no different just not as polished or balanced as I recall. Wonder if they've increased production - this is their entry level offering — 2 months ago
@Peter van den Besselaar even better my friend! — 5 days ago
Thick, chewy, full bodied Douro, heavy taste of black cherry and slightly smoky. — 16 days ago
Opaque purple in color, Welch's grape juice, cedar, and anise on the nose. Palate is evolved and settled with muddled blue and blackberry. Definitely nods to Porto with a tawny hint. A bit hot on the alcohol (guessing 14.8 ABV). Wine is dry, medium minus acidity. Full bodied. A bit of bitterness keeps this from presenting a rounded mouth feel. Tannins non existent at this point. Good.

Violets in the nose. Classic vintage port profile. Needed 5 hours of air to loose the harsh alcoholic notes on the palate. But after that it was balanced and singing. Together with Taylor's, Grahams is in my top three port producers. — 2 days ago
