Dark red fruit, oxidative notes, stewed fruit, plum, pencil lead, cola, molasses, and ripe black fruit. Medium plus body, high tannins, high alcohol, high acid, and long finish. Drink now with all the tertiary stuff going on, which surprises me given the vintage is only 5 years old. — 15 days ago
So great after all these years. Rip Mike — 4 months ago
Bright ruby red with pink rim . Quite open and juicy, fresh and enticing , red cherry , raspberry , strawberry , with just a touch of fresh cut herbs . On the palate quite ripe red fruits noted on the nose with just a hint of smokiness. Finishes clean and fresh and with good acidity , ripe fine tannin, good balance and ok length . Quaffable, moreish and nicely judged Côtes du Rhône to drink now and over the next 7-10 years . — 6 months ago
Bracing white with lovely smoke like wafts of lemon, spice, chalk, green grass and lovely mineral foreground. Layered on long on the tongue. Absolutely needs food as on its own maybe a little too bracing but with a nice grilled fish and salad it’s balanced. — 2 months ago
No notes. Beef jerky & dark cherries, on nose & palate. Thinner concentration I had hoped for, but suspect age, air and/ or long decant will bring it together — 4 months ago

Decanted for an hour and tasted fresh, young, and light. Got a lot of pepper and some brine on the backend. Nose of flowers but a definite olive oil, herbs, ripe red and purple fruits. Couldn’t pin the flavors and did some research to find the Counoise grape is blended, hopefully explaining why my unrefined palate is finding such different flavors. Definitely feeling the high alcohol coming off enough that it almost feels like overbearing acid. Tannins coat the tongue but it still comes off with a deep freshness. Lovely. — 14 hours ago
