This is a gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon based Bordeaux blend from Napa Valley.
Showing nice balance and a great mouthfeel. Round and rich. Elegant and smooth.
This 22 year old still has a lot of power in it, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 10 years.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours of airtime.
So soft and powerful, with a great nose. This is a gorgeous wine right now.

Jen like a lot. Nice and light. 2022 90 pts and $11 at Costco — 3 months ago
Poured into a decanter about two hours prior to dinner. There was some decent sediment so I left the last ounce or so in the bottle. In the glass, the 2018 pours a deep ruby with a translucent core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, this is absolutely gorgeous with heady notes of fresh ripe blackberries, black cherries, pomegranate molasses, tobacco, black pepper, some dry earth and beautiful integrated baking spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Beautifully balanced. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and has a satisfying melange of fruit and spice. This is fabulous with some air right now but I expect it will age beautifully through 2038. — 9 months ago
a fabulous bottle—all that it should be—steely tightly wound grand cru white wine from Corton Charlemagne. Huge upside yet, so young, wine will last decades. It’s got it all—fruit and structure, great acidity. Still a bit lean and needs to fill out, but a great bottle. — 3 years ago

Tasted LB2001 10years ago. Then it was weak compared to the ‘85and ‘91. Tonight it showed beautifully. Fabulous pairing with rack of lamb! — 3 years ago

Girl. Sup? Shoot. This was utterly brilliant tonight. Classic Bordeaux yet, even at 26 years young, somewhat precocious still. A beautiful mix of deep, dark and red fruit with currants, blackberries and cherries with chocolate, purple flowers, green pepper, tobacco, earth, leather and awesomeness. Plenty of structure to keep this strutting for years to come. Fabulous balance and complexity. Drink now through 2047+. — 2 months ago
