This is a version of Primitivo quite different to what we are used in Italy.
I am sure it has its lovers
6 months in French oak and 6 in American oak too
The wine has a deep colour
Multitude of spices over a big fruit.
It is a step away from a Barossa wine and two away from a classic Primitvo.
But it is definitely long and mouth fulling.

Wow! I Was not sure if to believe the 9.2 mark but I am blown away! Amazing red! I will give it a solid 9. Just because I am not sure i tried 9.2 — a year ago
Hell yes. Raspberry nose. Red fruit overlayed with crushed dry rose, savory herbs, spicy black pepper, red licorice, assertive tannins and a delicate acidity. Unconventional but absolutely great Chateauneuf du Pape. Give it a lot of air, and drink it slowly over the course of an evening. With cheese ravioli and Miles Davis’s Kind of Blue. Divine. (Also not a blend, but 100% Grenache) — 4 months ago

Tasting notes of cherry and brown sugar with high tannins and a zippy finish. Really good if you’re looking for a bright, straightforward wine that can pair well with a lot — 2 months ago
