Feudo Montoni

Rose di Adele Nerello Mascalese 2024

This may be my favorite of the Feudo Montini lineup. Has length, saltiness & depth. A rose with soul & structure. — 5 days ago

Feudo di San Nicola

Puglia Primitivo 2018

Medium ruby in color; blackberries, plums, and dried leaves on the nose; medium minus acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like strawberries, hibiscus, and crushed gravel with a long finish. Nellie says it's ok. I like it. — 3 days ago

Feudo Dei Sanseverino

Calabria IGT Gaglioppo 2022

This wine has a medium ruby color to it. The nose is full of black fruit and savory aromas. Plum, blackberry, and currant bring sweetness, which is balanced by notes of earth, tar, and pepper. The palate shows clean, fresh fruit and a brisk acidity with firm tannins. It's a great chance to add the Gaglioppo grape to your century club list. — 4 months ago

Emiliano Falsini

Feudo Pignatone Etna Rosso Nerello Mascalese 2022

This was an amazingly enjoyable wine for being so young. Somewhat pale red in color, the palate was full of red fruit, spices, slate, tar, and volcanic ash. My first exposure to this varietal was pleasant indeed. — a month ago

Tenuta delle Terre Nere

-Il Quadro delle Rose- Feudo di Mezzo Etna Rosso Nerello Mascalese 2019

This has all the traits that make Etna Reds so attractive. Medium bodied , red fruited with pronounced minerality. Vines planted on the pure Ellittico lava flow terroir. Predominantly Nerello Mascalese. As many tasters previously have said of Etna Rosso, a hypothetical blend of Nebbiolo and Pinot Noir. I will leave my last bottle for a couple of years. — 3 months ago
