2023 vintage. Light-medium body. Initially pretty nose and flavors without trying-spearmint, raspberry, strawberry. Those impressions remained but dwindled with importance as rhubarb, clove and dark cherry steadily drifted in. A little substrate/carpet of dried earth that gradually gained strength. This is so youthful; a good 2-3 years necessary to even begin to speculate as to the ceiling and direction. 05.18.25. — 14 days ago

Good tipicity. Lots of concentrated ripe red and black fruit, but between the hint of barnyard, good oak integration, lower alcohol and elegant body it’s very well restrained and enjoyable. Maybe a bit rustic but very well done  — 9 months ago
