The Big Easy Santa Barbara County Syrah Blend 2020

This is very nice. Velvety mouthfeel, a lot of fruit, berry jam, some herbs and pepper, not much tannin. I’d definitely buy again. This is a crowd pleaser bigger red. — 7 days ago

Santa Barbara County Chardonnay 2023

Delectable Wine
9.1

The 2023 Chardonnay soars from the glass with striking aromatics. Hints of apricot, lemon peel, white flowers and crushed rocks follow. Effortless and gracious, this blend of sites yields a Chardonnay of notable complexity, while a touch of Hungarian oak adds an attractive spicy character. $22.00 (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, August 2024) — 3 months ago

Dark fruited with steeped tea, baking spice, and even a bit black pepper. Ripe and deep. Paired really well with grilled salmon.
Could use another 4 or 5 years of bottle age.

Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim. Not showing much age.

Gorgeous nose, and dry and fruity on the palate with medium acidity.

Long finish with fine grained tannins.

What a wonderful surprise. This 23 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley is drinking fantastically.
Elegant and fruit forward. Rich and extracted. Soft and smooth.

Good right out of the bottle, and so much better after an hour in the decanter.

This is a gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon based Bordeaux blend from Napa Valley. Big and bold. Spicy and tangy. Showing nice complexity at this point.

This 6 year old is drinking beautifully now. Rich yet elegant. Extracted and easy drinking. Well balanced and really delicious.

A beautiful surprise. I had the 2016 a few years ago, and this is drinking much better now. I did not expect it from the 2017 vintage.
