Domaine Serene

Jerusalem Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir 2014

Another really great Serene Pinot. A bit more smokey and meaty. Lower elevation = more strength, versus Dundee Hills. Very good. — 3 months ago

Gilgal Galilee Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Loved this one. Great for a rainy cold day. Paired with mujadara and Jerusalem mix chicken. Big wine with blackberry, dark cherry and blueberry. Oaky tannins keep it from being too sweet. Would buy this again in a heartbeat!! — 7 months ago

35.40.2 Judean Mountains Red Blend 2016

#kosherWineSunday

Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Fruity nose with blueberries, black currants, cooked plums, Indian spices, light oak, licorice, earth, herbs, light vegetables, chocolates, black tea and peppercorn.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, black cherries, oak, licorice, light vanilla, tobacco leaf, bitter herbs, light vegetables, earth, black tea, peppercorn and Indian spices.

Long finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 8 year old GSM blend from Israel is drinking beautifully now. Elegant and fruit forward. Feels like a Washington State red blend. Easy drinking and engaging.

Needs an hour to open up properly, so be patient.

Peaking now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.

Delicious by itself as a sipping wine, and good with food too.

A blend of 47% Syrah, 35% Grenache and 18% Mourvedre. Kosher and not Mevushal.

15% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

$55.

Nice. Our stem of choice, too.

Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon

Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine Chardonnay 2020

Lovely Macon with serious more northern Bourgogne Blanc ambitions. Buttery lactic notes, ripe lemons, fresh acidity and mineral backbone; a well balanced wine nicely coming together at the moment. From magnum and paired with a dish of gray shrimps filled Jerusalem artichokes. — 10 months ago

Sauvignon Blanc

Warm yellow color with a tinge of green. Smells of cantaloupe and sea air. Tastes of pomelo and chalk with a mildly tangy finish. Reserved for a Sauvignon Blanc. Good balance. — 5 months ago

35.6.18 Judean Mountains Red Blend 2017

This Israeli Grenache blend is delicious now.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel.

Showing black fruits with light wood, spices, coffee, cola, licorice, light vanilla, black pepper and herbs.

Spicy finish with soft tannins.

I've had a few vintages of this wine and it always delivers.

Easy drinking and good by itself or with food. Will pair nicely with a lamb dish.

A blend of Grenache, Carignan and Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. Kosher.

14.5% alcohol by volume.
