Primarily Malbec with some Cabernet Sauvignon blended in. Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of cooked dark cherry/berry fruit, violets and fresh herbs. Flavors of jammy black cherry, dark plums, black licorice, baking spices, fresh thyme and rosemary. Hint of black pepper spice on the long and luxurious smooth finish. Nicely integrated tannins and noticeable acidity. Wonderful harmony and more savory than I was expecting. Pleasant surprise. — 6 months ago
Exceptional concentration via whole cluster extraction. A richness that rivals that of California cabs 😳 — a month ago
Deep , opaque violet ruby , with a thin violet rim . Quite dense and closed at first , deep plum , blackberry , meaty , chocolate , dark cherry , with a stony , granite note . On the palate this is dense dark blackberry , earthy plum , liquorice and cacau destes dark cherry . High tannin, really quite firm and gritty , fresh acidity and just balanced alcohol. Good gritty herbal and granite stained finish . This is very young and quite concentrated in style , lots of tannin to round out , but there is lots of stuffing here too . Come back in 5-10 years perhaps and will last well a further 5-10. — 3 months ago
Bell pepper, chilli pepper, tamarind, red fruit… cherry, raspberry, cedar, vanilla, dill (but tech spec says aged in used French oak). On the palate, unripe blackberry and seeds. No noticeable cream on the palate (effect of melo gone?) — 6 months ago
Ripe blackberry and black cherry, powerful without being heavy on the palate, tart black cherry, a little black pepper bite, and lingering gravelly tannins.
