Prachtige Sauternes. — 3 months ago
Loved this in a magnum. Tart cherry, earth, and red fruit galore. This is everything Pinot should be. Damn near perfection — 9 days ago
Certainly not as rare as the Ponsot’s Clos des Monts Luisants, but as soon as I saw this on the wine list at reasonable price, I knew this was what I wanted to order.
The nose opens with lemon oil, white peach, crushed stones, and subtle hazelnut. The palate is supple yet lively, with vibrant acidity framing ripe orchard fruit and a cool, chalk-driven core. A faint floral note and gentle oak spice add complexity. Elegant with refined balance. — 12 days ago
2018 vintage. Double decanted and tasted after one hour at approx 59-60 degrees. Medium Chablis body. Lilacs, lemon curd, minerals aplenty along with a slightly curious, white pepper, finishing splash. Obviously too soon as this could easily stretch two decades. Saying this as a decided Chablis non-fan but this was arguably the best white (sparkling or flat) I've had in quite a spell. Le woof. 10.25.25. — a month ago
