Began with a strong metallic taste

After some air time - mellowed into the expected wine. Good acidity. Nice lemon citrus flavor.

Has a roundness to it that speaks to the vineyard as if it had some oak but I don’t think it did.

Btw - Sigalas is only Santorini wine I drink. Visited them on my honeymoon. Fantastic place just a short walk down the hill from Oia.

Some funky reduction on the nose, waxy & floral blowing away to leave salt marsh. Relatively dense for a white wine. Saline minerality, citrus pith, prominent acidity. — 5 months ago
