Jura FTW again! Man, this producer is fast becoming one of my favorites. Complexity here is off the charts: granite, cherry, cranberry, mushroom, dried herbs, eucalyptus, and more. Light and smooth, low tannins, it still packs a big flavor punch. Cherry cola, orange peel, lots of pepper. Heck yeah. — a year ago
Opened earlier in the day and double-decanted several hours prior to service; enjoyed over the course of three hours. The 1982 pours a deep garnet with a near opaque core. On the nose, the wine is developing (still!) and slightly green compared to the ’82 Mouton that was poured alongside. Cassis, purple Chewy SweeTarts, green bell pepper, old wood, some earth and baking spices. On the palate, the wine is dry and has massive structure still. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and slightly bitter. Drink now with a long decant but there are decades of life left. — 6 days ago

I found this wine balanced. I had it with surf and turf, and it was a good pairing — 7 days ago
Pnp beauty, completely open and giving wafting a distinctive Roumier raspberry and rose petal laced whole cluster perfume with a seductive and seamless palate with fine grained tannins and a long mineral inflicted finish. So much more accessible than 21’s right now which are far more closed and reductive. Last glass a couple hours open was just perfect Burgundy. Village at its finest. — a month ago
One of the best village wines in the biz, and 2021 is already drinking beautifully, quite different than the richer 19 and 20’s, but soft, pure and seductively elegant with amazing transparency and detail, and a liquid velvet texture. Last sips were the best. Love these wines! — 3 months ago

2018 vintage. First visit with this producer as it's rarely glimpsed in the Southern California market. Smoky, plummy nose. Medium body. Smooth, velveteen entry on the front palate that cruises the length of the performance until the fine-grained tannins at the conclusion. Super classy. Exactly zero speedbumps at this juncture. Refined enough to appeal to long-time BDX drinkers and inviting enough to welcome first-time BDX initiates. Showing beautifully now with very little to resolve. No personal history to draw on with this property but stylistically and regionally, feel this can easily go 10-12 years without effort/variation. Past that point, not prepared to say/speculate. 12.17.24. — 3 days ago
