Boars' View The Coast Pinot Noir 2016

Pop and pour. A splendid ruby red color. On the nose: jumping from the glass is candied cherries, earth, clove, smokey oak, floral, cola. Taste: smooth, creamy wine with just a slight dark cherry, tea, fig, dried herbs, minerals, and a spiced earthy medium finish. Fan of Boars View pinots, but there are better vintages. — 6 days ago

Long Meadow Ranch

Farmstead Napa Valley Chardonnay 2015

Pear and golden delicious apple nose, a little creaminess and soft tannins. An easy drinking Chardonnay that goes well with food. — 8 months ago

Gravelly Meadow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2005

Kept this one for a while. Probably needs a longer decant. Very fresh despite age but restrained. — 4 months ago

Long Meadow Ranch

Anderson Valley Rosé of Pinot Noir 2013

What a Pinot should be. Light, flowery, with light red fruit, with a hint of blueberry up front. Very nice wine. — a month ago
