Solid, reliable, and delicious. — 2 months ago
2017 Ravine White Springs Vineyard Dry Riesling (Finger Lakes). Nine years old and still seems youthful. Great nose of zesty Granny Smith and slightly unripe Cortland apples and lots of high-toned stony minerality. Palate is concentrated and intense, lots of crisp acid to balance the deep fruit and intense stones. Lipsmackingly delicious. 9.3 (This is a re-post because @Delectable Wine deep-sixed the original) — 4 months ago

Wonderful. Blind, you'd think you weren't drinking Finger Lakes. Soft, luscious fruit and Brett profile, with a spicy, peppery finish. Really rounded, full, balanced, and lovely. Glass at the tasting room. — a month ago
Another solid vintage of this 100% Cabernet Franc Rose’. Medium pink color. Aromas and flavors of strawberry, watermelon, cranberry, pink flowers, as well as a touch of citrus and spice. Long finish, crisp acidity and slightly creamy texture. Bone dry, fresh and clean. Well crafted and consistent vintage after vintage. Great starter wine, John P! — 2 months ago
Straw and green apples and the nose and palate. Finishes like a Granny Smith. Good acidity with some sugar but not too much sweetness. Reserve is a step up but this is a great value. — 6 months ago

Clear deep gold. Abundant, genie-like nose of baked apple and birch. Medium palate confirms the nose -- the apple is green -- with a hint of ripe pear and mineral notes with solid, medium-plus acidity tempered by the barrel treatment. The Classique draws from the top vineyards around lower Seneca Lake, and the result is among the best the Finger Lakes has to offer. Excellent all-around white for rich seafood, pork, or poultry dishes, and especially the Thanksgiving table. Drink now 2021 through 2026. — 3 years ago

Excellent dry Riesling, vibrant apricot and orchard fruit accents and a silky, mineral-driven mouthfeel that paired well with an oily salmon dish at Hope Club American Wine dinner. — 13 days ago
