Querciabella, in Italian, means “beautiful oak” and surrounds their vineyards. Founded in 1974 by Giuseppe Castiglioni, now managed and owned by Sebastiano Cossia Castiglionii. Sangiovese from biodynamically grown grapes, Ruby, lovely nose of fruit, floral and spice. On the palate cherry and blackberry flavors with earthy herb notes and spicy cacao. Fine tannins, good balance, medium+ finish ending with earthy character. Nice value, consistent. — 9 months ago
Aged really well. Makes me want to hold on to newer bottles for longer. Having this really makes me appreciate the Syrah more. — a month ago
Pretty approachable and delicious. — 6 months ago
This wine is just getting good. A lot of baking spice, apple, dried herbs, cranberry, kind of like Thanksgiving sans turkey and potatoes. Really opens after 90 minutes of air. Outstanding — 3 months ago

In a good spot, holding up. Cherry cough drops, menthol, slight tobacco, forest floor, herbal, earth, nice acid. — a month ago
