A lovely, Mineral-driven Kabinett, great fruit with low alcohol (8.5), a real pleasure to drink — 2 months ago

Stunningly beautiful wine. Supernatural balance, complete in every direction, glides across the palate with not a hair out of place. So much finesse, so much elegance, and that aristocratic class only the greatest Spätlesen in the world have. In a totally different league. — a month ago
Light golden color. Aromas of unripe stone fruit, dried flowers, wet slate and lemon zest. Flavors of peaches, nectarines, lemon and minerals. Long, mouth coating and tingling finish. The moderate amount of residual sugar is more than balanced by the bold and abundant acidity. Light bodied, crisp and refreshing. Wonderful precision and quality. Great pairing with our Christmas ham. — 6 months ago
Drink em if u got em — 7 months ago
See previous note from February 2024. Peachy and mineral. Absolute purity on the palate with profound intensity and medium minus acidity. At 10 years still with a future but hard to beat right now. Jancis Robinson’s German expert, Michael Schmidt, scored this 19/20. Seriously a world class dry Riesling (13% ABV). Some tasters are getting petrol/kerosene aromas but I’m not getting that. — a year ago

Bright, fresh, electric. Solid — a month ago
Just a monster. So dense and complex. Unreal density. I mean this is the densest Riesling I have had all year. Yet so fine. Unreal structure. This reminds me of Jadis 2012. Unreal. Unreal. The finish is a mineral blast to end all mineral blasts. — 7 months ago

Germany vs. Côte d’Ivoire; the wine is beautifully aged, just like the game 😉 Pleasing 8.5 Alc. — 9 days ago
