Lighter than the pagliaro, and not as good but still very good. — 3 months ago
Classic amarone: Prunes, figs, raisins, dark chocolate notes with great firm tannins but still fresh and acidity. Brighter than other years but definitely a tasty wine that pairs well with steak or certain desserts. Definitely will try other vintages. — 2 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a couple hours. The 2015 pours a deep amber color with a translucent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with fascinating notes of ripe orchard fruit: apricots, peach, and orange pith; along with pu'er tea, dead flowers, nuts, and dry earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with low tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and there is a slightly waxy texture. This is a wine that gives you that sort of, “open your head, lift out brain, spin it around, and reinsert” sort of experience. Special. Drink now through 2030+. Bottle No. 03507/11970 — a month ago
Pale golden yellow color with aromas of stone fruit, citrus and herb spice notes. On the palate flavors of apple with slight citrus and honey notes and herb spice. Good acidity, balance and structure, medium+ finish ending with earthy mineral character. Very Nice! — 2 months ago

Wow! Aged a bit too long, but still a pleasure to drink. Go for it! — 25 days ago
Let her open up a bit. Rustic and medium bodied, earthy, just like a Umbria wine should taste — a month ago

Light and flowery on the nose and an opening splash of oranges followed by medley of plum, anise, fig and apple. The finish is moderate in acidity with hint of smoke. — 17 days ago
