Somewhere between licorice and ripe purple plum. Medium tannins with slightly Smokey aftertaste — 5 days ago
Medium in body, fresh and driven, the 2022 Pinot Noir (Santa Lucia Highlands) is pretty forward in its red-fruited profile, but it also possesses a core of stern, rocky minerality. An enticing air of highlands herbs and sweet lavender adds further intrigue. Juicy, sweet raspberry, clove and a kick of toasty French oak sweetness make the 2022 an inviting choice for drinking over the next several years. (Billy Norris, Vinous, August 2024)

Full-bodied and brimming with lush blackberry, black currant, and strawberry preserves. The plush, well-integrated tannins are present through a finish of dried thyme and tarragon, star anise, and warm leather. Paired well with homemade pizza. — 3 days ago
v21. As soon as you open , pour and sniff…imagine crushing a bunch of Cabernet grapes in your hand in the barrel room of a winery, this is the smell you get opening this wine! This wine consistently over delivers.
Nose evolves to soft tobacco.
Luscious, juicy blackberry fruit. Smooth, spicy, velvety, chocolate finish. Great entertaining wine! — 24 days ago
Nice bottle of wine for a Friday evening. — 24 days ago
Pale ruby in color; cherries, raspberries, and dried herbs on the nose; medium minus acidity; low tannins; tastes like pomegranates, hibiscus, and camphor with a long finish. Nellie likes it, and so do I. — 24 days ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Bright Ruby color, purple edges, with aromas of ripe fruits, floral and complex spice, vineyard planted in 1991. On the palate concentrated flavors of blueberry, strawberry and cherry with citrus, herbs, vanilla and oak, aged on French oak, soft tannins on well balanced structure. Full body, rich long finish, ending with ripe fruit, vanilla, floral and oaky tones. Very Nice! Will age a bit! — 4 days ago
