Medium dark rubi robe with a slight fading on the rim, hints of brick. Nose of anise and blackcurrant with notes of flowers and top soil.
It’s medium bodied and long in the mouth, in a cistercian way, very reticent, in contrast with the robe.
Its a truly nice bottle of classical Vosne and there is probably no rush to drink. Not an exuberant Vosne by any means so not for those who prefer more demonstrative wines. — 3 months ago

Was a bit disappointed this wasn’t higher. Maybe a bit closed? Has a bit of that crunchy berry note on the nose and palate. But really quite light bodied with a thin finish relative to what you expect for a nice Gevrey. Not bad at all with a roast chicken and mushrooms but still didn’t quite get there for me overall. — 4 months ago
