Last bottles from a 6-pack. I had two bottles that were sadly riddled with EA, but the other four were sound.

This was one of the wines I served for my annual WWC hosting. All wines served blind.

65 semillon/ 34 Sauvignon Blanc/ 1 Muscadelle

Always love these, more so than most domestic Bordeaux Blanc style white wines, mostly because of the texture. Straw color in the glass. Quite the tropical aromatics (white peach, mango) but it’s not overpowering. The barrel ferment is apparent with the rounded profile on the palate…the vein of acidity that was there a few years ago is fading, so this showed even more opulent than normal. Honeyed lemon, guava, orange blossom but a backbone of sea salt and herbs snap the structure in place to show nice balance and a nod to Bordeaux. I’d recommend popping now and over the next couple years to enjoy the freshness. — a day ago

Slightly golden dress. Apricot nose, white peach, honey, dried fruits, hazelnut, butter, vanilla, empyreumatic notes are present. In the mouth it is of great delicacy, between mineral tension, and creaminess. The breeding is melted with the notes of evolution. A great of the great Loire white wines that I was able to drink; gastronomic profile.

Robe légèrement dorée. Nez abricot, pêche blanche, miel, fruits secs, noisette, beurre, vanille, les notes empyreumatiques sont bien présentes. En bouche c’est d’une grande délicatesse, entre tension minérale, et onctuosité. L’élevage est fondu aux notes d’évolution. Un grand vin blanc de Loire au profil gastronomique. — 3 years ago

2 ans plus tard le vin est pareil mais il s'est assoupli, il est plus équilibré. Robe dorée foncée (or). Un nez d'abricot, de pommes confites avec une touche d'alcool. Une bouche a une bonne acidité. Des saveurs intenses de miel, de vanille, de gâteau des anges, muscade, croûte de crème brûlé. Il est très sucré mais offre une belle acidité. J'aime. — a year ago

Color has slight greenish tones. Very nice nose, iodine, lemon zest, touch of almonds too and sea shells that are also on the palate. Very Chablis style with energy and an edgy acidity, mineral and saline with great length, delicious.

Couleur dorée avec de légers reflets verdâtres, très Droin comme couleur. Un beau nez typé avec des notes salines et iodées, coquillages, zeste de citron, et des amandes. Une bouche très Chablisienne, acidité vive, sans être tranchante, belle énergie, minéral et salin sur cette finale très longue. 92-93 — 5 years ago
