OK folks that’s like a cheesy label. Dark red. Almost impossible to see through it. Smells like incense, stewed plums and potpourri. Flavors are inky and big. Rich berry bottom. Hint o’ mint. Very dry. This is classic style for CA Petite Sirah. And very nice. — 4 years ago
I waited too long to enjoy this wine. The color has started to change a bit. Back home in Orange County CA having dinner with friends at their home. — 8 years ago

Wow! Maybe best perry I’ve ever had. More like perry champagne/wine. I get pears, chalk, some berries, cream, stone, and a bit of funk. So drinkable, so complex, so well balanced. Thank you redfield cider! Best cider bar in the world. — 5 years ago
Watermelon rinds, white flowers on the nose. Dry, light effervescence but nice subtle bitterness and mouth feel. Strawberry rhubarb and med acidity. — 6 years ago

Cheesy label. Bad art. But it’s a man, and that fits the tie-in to the name I guess. The color is good and the wine smells good. Like baked berries and sunbaked shingles. The taste is nice too. A complex and dense Zin. Has plenty of jammy blackberry and black cherry fruit. Also a hint of savory olive/teriyaki beef. This is nice ‘fancy’ foothills Zin that has aged well. — 2 days ago
