Finger Lakes Dry Riesling 2022

Fresh honeycrisp apple, pear, melon and lemon zest. Hint of petrol with nice floral notes as well. Medium minus body and medium plus acid. My favorite Finger Lakes Riesling so far! — 23 days ago

Boundary Breaks Vineyard

No. 239 Finger Lakes Single Vineyard Dry Riesling 2017

Very impressed with this bottle. 2017 vintage and it still explodes with flavor across your tongue and down the sides dragging a solid melon, peach, and honey the whole way to the back of your mouth. The front end is very citrusy with a little white pepper. — 3 months ago

Hermann J. Wiemer

Magdalena Vineyard Riesling 2020

Slight lemongrass bouquet. Slight and subtle fresh aromas.

Bought two of these so I could taste one after some years.

Super balanced. A rush of fresh effervescence and meadow like palate. Blades of supple grass, a beautiful chew, bracing acidity balanced with nice mineralogy.

Very elegant. And quaffable. Slight petrol note towards the end but nicely accentuates the overall expression of Riesling.

Finger Lakes Dry Riesling 2022

Easily stacks up to Mosel Riesling. Zippy with ripe Meyer lemon and decent minerality. Just the right amount of dryness. Would absolutely devour this with a cheese plate. — a month ago

Mmmm. I love a good zip.

Forge Cellars

Classique Seneca Lake Dry Riesling 2021

Very interesting and very different from the three previous single vineyard Forge Rieslings we tried. Floral, with a more distinct but still mellow hint of Riesling plastic poncho. A lot of white pepper and cumin, followed by a grassy finish. — 5 months ago

Didn't break low 50's to your west in the Berkshires today, and believe it or not, I eyed this same bottle today but didn't pull the cork.

Bedell Cellars

North Fork of Long Island Malbec 2020

From Williston Park Wines and Spirits. Another reviewer nailed it: cherries, plums, eucalyptus, a little smokey. 🍷 — 2 months ago

Wölffer Estate

Summer in a Bottle Long Island Rosé Blend 2023

Luminous coral pink. Strawberry, watermelon, peach, grapefruit on the nose with hints of minerality on the palate. Dry with medium body and acidity. Enjoyable summer rosé. Went perfectly with a strawberry and feta salad. — 7 months ago

Hermann J. Wiemer

Finger Lakes Cabernet Franc 2021

We had the pleasure of opening the 2021 Hermann J. Wiemer.

On the nose there was nice strawberry, cranberry, raspberry, herbaceous notes and green bell pepper.

On the palate there was good strawberry, raspberry, red plum, green bell pepper, a bit of oak and crushed gravel.

This is a medium bodied wine with light velvety mouthfeel medium to medium + acidity and medium to medium + fine tannins that leaves with a medium to medium + red fruit gravel dust finish. Well it looks as though spring can't make up her mind. This weekend looks to be a bit on the cooler side so lets get out and enjoy ourselves. Please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷
