Great as Pinots go but only good for this maker. These half bottles continue to perplex. — 8 months ago

An evening of Cakebread Cellars. The Pinot and CabFranc were the shining stars. Earthy tones with a hint of cherry and back spice. — 2 months ago
A very nice Rose Bubbly! Salmon with note of Strawberry and yeast. On the bud, strawberry, apple, and a spice note. — 3 months ago

This wine will be excellent after at least 2 plus years of bottle aging. Go out and get some, I have access if you need it. — 8 months ago
Slight nod over the Rivers-Marie 2013 Gioia (still very fruit driven) and Failla 2013 Occidental Ridge. The Littorai was the most evolved and Burgundian of the bunch. — a year ago

Drinking very nicely but a delicate wine. Need to swish it to get to taste the fruit and earth. Drink now - unclear benefits to aging further. — 2 months ago
Medium ruby with quite wide watery ruby rim . Aromatic on the nose with raspberry , rose , spiced orange peel and black cherry . On the palate this is well balanced and quite elegant in style , fresh acidity and suave fine tannins , balanced alcohol . Lots of fresh fruits , strawberry, raspberry and dark cherry , with some spice and chalky minerality. Decent dark cherry tinged finish . Perfect now , don’t know whether this will age particularly well, but from now and over the next 5 years . — 3 months ago
