Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Perfect with Pichanha! Graphite, pencil lead, cassis, violets, chewy tannins! — 12 days ago

Castle Rock Winery

Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2022

Pale ruby in color; candied cherries, dried herbs, and raspberries on the nose; medium minus acidity; medium minus tannins; tastes like hibiscus, cloves, and dried leaves with a long finish. Nellie, Leo, and Bri don't like it. I like it. — 2 months ago

Diamond Creek Vineyards

Gravelly Meadow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 1978

From my cellar. Cork fell apart, but the wine was in excellent condition. Needed 1/2 hour to really open up. Fragrant, smooth, with tremendous balance and length. Lovely! — 3 months ago

Clone 4 Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

2014 vintage. Drinking nicely in a feminine style. Well-integrated oak waay in the background with delicate flavors throughout. Slightly dusty finish has staying power. 6.19.24. — 3 months ago

Elevage Stags Leap District Merlot Blend 2019

Blend of about 39% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Petit Verdot with the rest Cabernet Franc, aged for 18 months in 100% new French oak, deep Ruby, purple edges with aromas of dark red fruits, oak and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, plum and currants with cacao and herb spice. Full dusty tannins, opens nicely, long finish ending with fruit, oak, vanilla spice and mineral character. Nice! Drinking well now, will still age. — 3 months ago
