Les Perrières Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Beautiful color. Burn copper around the rim. Nose of pomegranate, tart red cherry, dusty minerals, dry dirt, old cellar. Dusty tannins dry out the mouth quickly. Really delicate and quickly fading acidity. Palate has the dusty minerals, sand, tart red fruit, tree bark. The tannins tell me wait another 1-2 years, but the acidity says drink. The drying tannins hide the palate a bit. — a month ago

Les Fournaux Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2010

Better than when i tried the wine earlier. So it did need 10 year. Still the 10’ continues to be more or less a dud across the board. With few exceptions. This wine is at the end of his life. Tannins well resolved although plenty left, hint cherry 🍒 . Orange juice. — 6 months ago
