We had this with Dewey and Dozieie at Erb Saint in New Orleans. Excellent. — 3 months ago
Crisp Italian sparkling white, served with Norumbega oysters at the Caring Community Cuisine Café (fka Musette), Cape Arundel, ME — 3 months ago
Medium garnet , ruby , with medium wide garnet ruby rim . Quite aromatic with sweet red fruits , touch of rose , floral hints . A little alcohol showing . Quite rich and dense , with a touch of medicinal , dried summer fruits . Herbal hints and anise , dried spice . Slightly grippy tannin , less prominent acidity , and alcohol a little more noticable. This has a slightly shorter , less elegant finish than the other wines, but more forceful . Still showing well , this could be drunk now and over the next 5-8 years . — 2 days ago

I love it more than some of the best champagnes! — 4 months ago
Deeper more intense colour , narrow more terracotta rim . This is quite restrained with a meaty , herbal element at first . Touch of earthy tobacco and dried spice . Menthol and anise notes also . This has nice anise, liquorice hints on the palate with darker fruit, dark cherry , red plum , touch of earthy , iron notes with some spice and smoky hints . Black tea stained finish . Good acidity with refined tannin. Quite good intensity and persistence on the finish . Drink now and over the next 3-5 years — 2 days ago
Beautiful, engaging nose. Full bloom, pink & red roses, cherry hard candy, layered, soft spice, dark cherries, strawberries, raspberries, light herbal notes, hint of bubble gum.
Pretty, ripe, juicy palate. Fruits are light; raspberries, cherries, strawberries and blackberries & black raspberry hues. Wet river stone, dry limestone powder, more pronounced dark, dry tannins, dry herbs, dark spice with some heat, light, dry tobacco notes, barrel dust, bright red & pink roses, magnificent acidity with a very pleasant elegant, polished finish that lands on spice and lasts 90 seconds.
Really good value and one to pick up. — 3 months ago

Medium garnet with medium garnet , terracotta rim , slightly cloudy appearance . Quite different from the others in style , more ethereal and delicate on the nose , with touches of dark anise tinged ripe blackcurrant , blackberry , dark cherry notes . Richer , more alcohol noticeable perhaps on the palate . Those darker fruits from the nose predominating with some blackcurrant, dark cherry , blackberry notes , along with some dry spice and anise. Quite gritty tannins , good acidity , quite meaty and long on the finish . Drink now and over the next 3-5 years or so. — 2 days ago
