From makers of Sassicaia, Deep Ruby color with aromas of fresh red & black fruits and earthy floral notes, 55% Cab Sauv, 27% Merlot & 18% Cab Franc. On the palate flavors of cherry, plum & blackberry with floral, licorice, cacao and earthy notes, well integrated. Fine tannins, a wine with a solid structure, elegant and smooth, long finish, great mouth feel ending with fruit and oak. Will age well over next 5+ years. Nice! — a month ago
Deep purple in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced intensity primary and secondary aromas of blackberries, dried herbs, and vanilla; on the palate, it's dry, with high acidity, high tannins, medium alcohol, full body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of plum, baking spices, a hint of black pepper, and crushed gravel with a long finish. This wine is intense and balanced, but it's difficult to differentiate the flavors. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. — 2 months ago
Ruby with a rich bouquet of fruit, spices and floral notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with notes of pepper, cinnamon and floral. Long finish, nice balance with fine soft tannins ending with earthy notes. Enjoyable now, a few more years will benefit. The ‘21 is a real insight for what the Riservas will taste like. Rated #7 wine of 2025 by spectator. — 20 days ago
Dark and murky ruby color with a slight garnet rim. Aromas of leather, ripe black cherry and a good deal of barnyard funk. Flavors of earth, coffee, mushrooms with a very slight amount of dried black cherry fruit. Finish is a bit bitter but the wine is still well balanced. Exceptionally tertiary with well softened tannins. Frankly, this wine was fine (if you can accept the lower fruit levels) but I was (it was not flawed) honestly expecting more from this highly regarded producer. — 2 months ago
This is a nice little snack. The wine pours a very pale ruby color. Cherries and rose petals on the nose. Zippy flavors of sour cherries and tart raspberries. Medium tannins, and a fairly good exit. If I had to complain, I would say there's an unduly amount of alcohol burn that gets on top of the fruit. But it's really hitting the spot.

Elegant and at 30 years really starting to show its age with a bit too much oxidation. The finesse and elegant structure, the valve between fruit and acidity is still there but the wine is showing mainly tertiary elements now - lots of dried herbs, mint, mushroom and earth with just hints of the plum, black cherry and blueberry that were once there. Very long finish ands very much for those who appreciate aged wines. — 13 days ago
