Roasted pineapple on the nose and mid palate. Pears are also evident in the mix.
Butterscotch notes combine with bold citrus notes. Relaxed acid makes this a huge knee-trembler. Wifey loves it, as do I! — 5 months ago
A commanding expression of Pritchard Hill fruit, this 2019 Melanson Cab is Napa power in its most refined form. The nose is intensely perfumed, black cherry, cassis, mahogany, dried herbs, and a touch of licorice and forest floor.
The palate follows through with depth and authority: concentrated dark fruit, cocoa powder, tobacco, and mulberry wrapped in firm but polished tannins. Dense, dry, and structured, with a long, resonant finish.
This is a wine that demands patience, decant at least two hours. Built to go the distance. 🔥🍷 — 7 months ago
This is a typically rich and voluptuous example from Tor. It’s flashy on the mid palate displaying roasted pineapples and a hint of lychee. This is a multidimensional example with delicate wood treatment and soft acidity. The finish extends and expands with a sexy sweet conclusion. Take a look if you can find it. — 2 months ago

A good wine but I was expecting more. Hopefully the next bottle will be more to my expectation. — 3 days ago
