Bonnes Mares Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2015

(En Magnum)…One to live forever, but with proper aeration it’s plenty giving, perfumed and seductive with a powerful, vibrant and structured palate with killer Grand Cru density and stunning length that seemingly never dissipates. For the long haul! — 11 days ago

Darker red fruit with cedar, mushrooms, and subtle forest floor. Spices and clove. An amazingly fresh wine worth enjoying now! — 3 months ago

I keep posting this, it is such a pqr killer! Widely available at around 18€ in the Netherlands. For my palate this is easy on premier/grand cru level. Worth seeking out! — 15 days ago

Tres Picos Campo de Borja Garnacha 2022

Notes of raspberry, flint, butter. Medium bodied, feel the sun and the acid, oak tannins, length, with blackberries and raspberries. I think this 2022 would have been in great in 2024. Love garnacha, but I feel I’d better drink it young, almost unoaked. — a month ago

Tres Girard Morey St. Denis Pinot Noir 2018

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a couple hours. No formal notes due to the setting but I’m pleased to report that the 2018 “Très Girard” is positively delightful at this stage of its evolution. Still developing, there is a pleasant mix of dark and red fruit with earth and spice and enough structure to gracefully continue its evolution over the next 10 to 15 years. Drink now through 2038. — 5 months ago
