Val De Campo

Bodegas Alto Moncayo

Campo de Borja Garnacha

Decanted for 2 hours!
100% old vine Garnacha.
So wonderful nose with big bold Garnacha fruits, ripe cherries, blackberries, flowers, spices, forest floor, smoke, vanilla, fine cedar wood.
Full bodied on the palate with lovely ripe expressive layers of dark fruit flavors, vanilla, herbs, complex, smooth ripe tannin, already a fine balance! Long delicious aftertaste ! 95 DSP

Campo Viejo

Rioja Garnacha

Had an amber color to it. Smelled of vanilla or cinnamon and had earthy and oaky aromas. Tasted of red berries with hints of oak. — 5 months ago

Bodegas Rafael Palacios

As Sortes Val do Bibei Valdeorras Godello 2018

As Sortes from Rafael Palacios is 100% Godello from 50-70 years old vines. This is minerally, fresh but also complex with great length. For an 8 year old white wine this is quite spectacular. — 2 months ago

Clos du Val Wine Co.

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Actually a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (77%), Merlot (12%), Malbec (5%), Cabernet Franc (4%) Petite Verdot (2%). Dark ruby color with some purple highlights. Aroma of ripe black fruit, violets, cedar and burnt caramel. Flavors of black berry/currant/plum fruit, black tea, savory herbs and spices. Lingering finish, plush, well balanced with fine grained tannins. Solid value. Enjoyed at Thyme Rooftop Restaurant with Keith S! — 3 months ago

pretty nice, some Spanish Garnacha can be too fruit driven & flabby, but this was decently structured - had an impressive core of fruit w/some terroir driven aromas & flavors. lacked polish leading to modest finish. good value @ $16 — 5 months ago

Val di Suga (Angelini)

Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2015

Jan 2026: PnP, picks up air and ready in 10 min in the glass. Black fruit, coffee, fine tannins, a brunello on the elegant side. Nice, but oak seems a bit too much so that somewhat dominates over classic brunello palate — 5 years ago
