Vin de Pays du Var Cinsault Blend Rosé 2020

Obtained via Zachy’s summer sale lol. Surprisingly pale when poured. Nose is floral cherries, palette is a bit medicinal with like dandelions lol. Medicinal quality slowly dissipates as it comes to room temp 🤔 — 3 years ago

Falletto di Serralunga d'Alba Riserva Barolo Nebbiolo 1989

Taken to Via Carota in the West Village. Decanted for 8 hours in the hotel room. Deep tawny color. Opaque. Amazing nose that screams old Nebbiolo. Notes of sweet red and black cherries, red rose petals, anise, old wooden desk, black soil and a hint of tar. Super rich in the mouth. Coats the palate. One of the best Barolos I’ve ever had. At peak yet still youthful. This can easily go for another 20 years. Bravo. — 2 years ago
