Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90min. The 2020 Langhe Nebbiolo “Pian delle Mole” pours a pale garnet with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart and ripe red fruits: Morello cherry, loads of tar, dusty earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose though the red fruits show more like ripe strawberry. Finish is medium. Drink now. — 6 months ago

We tried this in like 2019 and we were blown away! We bought something like 4 more bottles and drank them over the years. Each time, there was more happening. And this time, there’s a whole new depth.

Lots of acid and the early dryness quickly moves into a tangy apricot flavour. There’s some green apple and even hazelnut at the end and a long mouth feel.
