Still one of the great alt whites in the world.
N: swirling white and yellow flowers. Almost an echo of tropical fruit.
P: delicious. Clean. Balanced. Juicy. Liquid yellow flowers. Some crunch. Mountain steam. Amazing elegance.
9.5-9.6. Sick value at this price.

This needs a 45 minute decant. It’s rather simple on pop and pour.
Nose: powdered minerals. White flowers. Sweet lemon as it opens.
Palate: sweet fruit. Mineral. Bright acidity. Delicious. A bit straightforward but a great drink. Hmmm. Very nice depth. Sweet lemon. The missus says saline.
Hmm maybe the nose inches this to greatness. It’s really intense. Complex.

Popped and poured (not particularly recommended at this young age); enjoyed over the course of 90 minutes. The 2019 pours a deep ruby/purple color with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with significant staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with fabulous notes of wild, dark brambles, purple flowers, bacon fat, spiced cured meats, purple Flintstones vitamins, a touch of the animale, a balanced combo of cool and warm spices and granitic minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and the texture is like a mink glove. Baller Cornas. Drink now through 2054. Thanks for the assist @Lyle Fass — 3 months ago
My first of the 2023’s. Really spectacular. Pours a medium yellow with some viscosity. On the nose such purity. Lemon pith, white flowers, mixed citrus, high toned and pure, the palate is silky like crème brûlée but with a lightness; beautiful oak framing. I think I’m a Brissett junky. The winemaking highlights everything I love about Chardonnay. @Lyle Fass — a month ago
This wine shows bright, crunchy freshness with notes of alpine cough drops, fresh green herbs, and a touch of petrol. The palate is taut and mineral-driven, layered with lime zest and green apple, grapefruits. A saline, slatey undercurrent adds depth and tension, leading to a clean, mouthwatering finish. A precise and expressive Mosel Riesling with real energy and character. — 2 months ago

Not your dad’s Cabernet. Lighter colored cab. Pretty nose with present pyrazines v. can franc. But not harsh at all. What a revelation. Super drinkable. I need more. 2022 — 18 days ago
