Zinfandel and Carignan from a 123-year-old vineyard in Santa Clara County in the foothills on the way to Santa Cruz, super juicy and spicy, great depth and length, still super youthful, lovely. To be released 10/28/25. — 2 months ago
Slightly muted with age, but still strong, supple fruit dark smoking meat went perfect with smoked reverse, seared ribeye steaks — 10 months ago
Fun and fresh blend of Valdiguié, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Carignan and Tannat — 18 days ago
2020 vintage. Excellent second time around too. — 4 months ago
2022 vintage. Tasted with the winemaker Matt Brady. Nearly equal (and maybe better) to the 2021 vintage. Jumped at the 2021 effort so no room for this one but absolutely delicious follow-up. Spice, tannins, fruit all in balance and verry harmonious. It’s Pinots like this that keep me sold on the Santa Rita Hills as dayumed likely the best pinot-producing area in CA. 03.12.25 — 9 months ago
Been drinking this over a few nights and very nice — 2 years ago
This is the La Encantada Vineyard Pinot and might be one of the best from this producer. Nice fruit forward of black cherry, cola, star anise and cracked pepper. Love the earthy and floral nose of this single-vineyard wine. Big fan of this. Not so much on the other vineyards. — a month ago
Perfection. So glad I laid this one down. — 8 months ago
This is a wonderfully complex and layered Riesling with effervescent acidity, florals, white fruit and minerality. Lemon peel, pear, slate, and honeysuckle are on the nose and palate, each with its own distinct but harmonized role. If only there was more to be had! — 9 months ago

I think this is worth seeking out if you're a CA Syrah fan. Great dirt and "pepper" (my first btl where I said "I get this pepper thing") with a nice balance of mature fruit. Drinking really nice right now. Enjoy! — 12 days ago
