Always a great wine and after yet another wonderful day in the wine business it’s hitting the spot. Nose is very wet stones, lemon peel, some jasmine and more. Gorgeous and clear. Palate is elegant and lemony with terrific ripeness and sweet lemons on the finish and wonderful harmony. Needs air and it will gain body and cut. — 3 months ago

Another killer Tecce. Wow. No decant. Blackberries, blueberry compote and citrus accents on the nose. Very assertive tannins and acidity (still a bit young). Tart cherry, tangerine, ash, and dried herbs with a gamey and metallic quality. Such a long finish. Really feeling the tannins, but balanced by all the complex dark fruit. Mouth-puckering. Let’s see what happens on day 2!

Day 2 is even nicer. The acidity calmed down and I’m getting some notes of unsweetened dark chocolate. Softer tannins, but still a good grip. Dark fruits are solid, with more black cherry than berries. Just great. — 7 months ago

Beautiful expression of the terroir and grape—so alive. Great acidity. Cherry and strawberry primarily. Medium-plus tannins. Chalky earthiness married to faint but heavy flowers—violet and hibiscus. The faintest whiff of cedar and tobacco hits as one drops the glass. — 4 years ago
