Made in a small town at foot of Sierra Cantabria in DO. A single variety Tempranillo from 50 year old vines has a deep Ruby red color aged for 18 months in French and American oak. Aromas of red fruit and spice. On the palate a loads of fruit, fine tannins well balanced with a long finish ending with some oak notes. Nice! — a year ago
Medium ruby hue. Aromas of caramel, cassis, jam, pepper, plum, strawberry, tar, vanilla. Palate adds more baking spice and strawberry. Medium body, medium tannins, medium-plus acidity. Plus-length finish. 57% Syrah, 33% Petit Verdot, 10% Malbec. Versatile red blend. — 5 months ago
I liked it but Zack hated it 🤷🏻♂️ — 9 months ago
This wine is a medium-dark purple in the glass. Aromas of brambly cherry are adorned with anise, leather, pepper and clove notes. On the palate there is red fruit and oak spice with a savory coffee angle. The tannins are firm and the acidity is fresh. A lengthy finish leaves the savory aspect strongest. Pair with any beef or pork, or even a dish based in tomato sauce. — a year ago
Checking in on my birth year 1978. Still doing well - a bit smoky but not over the hill. Maybe it can last to 50…? — 9 months ago
