This is a wonderful wine! The nose shows citrusy notes, honey touches, some petroly touches, some floral scents. The palate is a model of balance. Some nice lemon, lemon curd notes, a bit of a milky, soft mouthfeel, some honeyed touches, but also a massive acid drive that makes it go on and on for ever and a day. The mid-palate is a nice bowl giving way to the longest mouth-watering finish, showcasing citrusy delights and a bit of a zesty touch that adds a layer of complexity. This is great ! — 10 days ago

Delicious. Loads of vibrant ripe apple fruit actually veering toward peach. Nice slatey minerality. In the mouth, it’s soft and round-textured on entry, then some minerality comes in but then recedes, leaving lingering notes of pure fruit. Good acids and just a hint of sweetness. Years ago used to treat myself to this maker once a year, but then my local store stopped bringing them in & I lost contact. Such a marvelous blend of concentration & finesse: Asian pear, ginger crystal, and white peach. Not a light bodied Kabinett, just gorgeous. Not a stand out vintage if I remember right but they are all pretty damn good. — 4 years ago
