Peppery plum is really shining through on this one. Red licorice and dried spice accents. Tannic grape skin gives it some grip. Long raisin finish. Like the Sun-Maid boxes I ate as a kid. A little sweet for me, but still good quality. Also added some to the passata I’m making from heirloom tomatoes, and it’s quite nice. — 3 months ago
Straw lemon color with aromas of stone fruits, citrus and floral notes, made with the Cortese grape. On the palate flavors of pear, green apple and lemon citrus with lively acidity and blossom notes. Medium savory finish ending with citrus and floral mineral character. — 9 days ago
Absolutely amazing Barolo. Oh my. Been a while since I had suck a lovely Italian Barolo that impressed me. Plums, dark cherries and licorice. — a month ago

Medium Ruby with aromas of red fruits, floral and new leather notes, fruit sources from several vineyard sites. On the palate flavors of cherry and plum fruits with tobacco and pepper spice. Firm chewy tannins, savory on a medium+ finish ending with notes of oak, mineral and earthy character. Drinking well now, good value. — 3 months ago

pear, citrus, must. Dare I say a little peppery? Very full bodied. Probably would have been better 6 months ago when I bought it. Oops. — 15 days ago
