Bright, salty, mineral notes, has some body. The reviewers noting an oiliness are spot on. Floral, plenty of baked yellow fruit (pear, golden apple). — 10 months ago
Light fruit and body but well made for the price. — 2 years ago
Sugary sweet notes of strawberry and raspberry jam. Lightly acidic, tart finish that keeps it from being too cloying. Fantastic dessert wine. — 3 months ago
@Delectable this is the “Misto Mare.” A brand new field blend from Lageder comprised of 20 grapes from vineyards converting to biodynamics. Just the slightest blush in the glass. Jasmine, fuzzy peach, and stone fruit stuffed with minerals. Well textured. Insane packaging. Another QPR banger. — a year ago
2022 vintage.
Demeter certified Biodynamic methods of viticulture.
Grown in stony, sandy soils with high content of limestone.
Vines are between 13-32 years of age.
Straw yellow with pink highlights.
Dry but with fruity flavours of peach, melon and yellow flowers.
A bit spicy with a slight peach pit bitterness on the finish.
This wine also spends 9 months on its lees to give round mouth feel on the finish.

The grand finale! Dad brought this. I tasted apricot and agave. Tasting notes were marmalade and barley sugar. I can’t say I could pin “barley sugar” but I am stashing that descriptor for future tastings 🤪 — 3 years ago
